The 3rd annual Vivace! Summer Band Camp is a day camp opportunity elementary and middle school band students in the north Fulton County Georgia area. The camp is located at Webb BridgeMiddle School in Alpharetta Georgia. Students will experience full band, master classes on their instrument, jazz improvisation, composition and sectionals. Also, we have scheduled recreation time, sidewalk chalk party and end of camp ice cream parties and concert.- Middle School Camp: For 6th, 7th and 8th grade band students (during the 2009-10 school year)
- This camp is open to all middle school band students who have been in their public or private school band program for at least one school year. Many students will have three years or more band experience. Middle school private students who have been studying once weekly for at least one full calendar year are also eligible for this camp. All campers will audition for seat placement the first morning of camp. Please click on Auditions to find out what is required.
- Elementary School Camp: For 4th and 5th grade band students (during the 2009-10 school year)
- This camp is open to all elementary band students who have been in their public or private school band program for at least one school year. Private students who have been studying once weekly for at least one full calendar year are also eligible for the elementary camp. There are no audition requirements for the elementary camp. Students will be evaluated in groups for placement on instrument parts (1st part, 2nd part, etc.) during master classes/sectionals the first morning of camp.
- Cost: Fee is $175 for the week if registration is received by May 1, 2010, $195 thereafter.
- Discounts are available for siblings ($20) and 2009 Middle School All-State band member ($40)
